February has once again been extremely busy at Mighty Atom. The Studio was booked up virtually through the whole month.

Liberty 37 kicked off the month with final seesions recording tracks for their second album. We started mixing at the end of the month and this will continue through March.

Chp Run Roadkill were in early in the month recording a track for a Faith No More tribute album. More details on their web site.

Goatboy have also been in the studio working on the final tracks for their second album. The group are currently storyboarding for a video to accompany one of the tracks. The album will also include eCD content with three videos. Release date currently looks like April.

Jarcrew were in for a few days working with producer Joe Gibb on a few new tracks. Jarcrew are currently signed to New Music Control and will have a new release out in the near future. You can check them out at peoplesound.com where they have enjoyed success in the Indy section.

Next in were Expired. Heavy metal outfit extrodinaire. Loads of Marshall guitars and Dio-esque vocals. Great bunch of lads as well.

Stickman were in at the end of the month to record one track. This was recorded and mixed in one day which was a bit of an acheivement for the band and Joe. All this rush because we had meetings with a couple of recored labels the following week regarding licensing and we needed some Stcickman material down to play them.

Other news includes the stratup of regular music nights down at Subteranea in Swansea. These nights are being organised by bisound PA, who are providing all the PA equipment, so the sound there has been good. We went along to the first show and saw Tetra Splendra and Cubare. Tetra Splendra were very, very good. Early 70's style keyboards - hammond, rhodes, etc. mixed in with some powerful guitars and strong melodies. We understand they've just been picked up by EMI and have a single out in April. This is one to watch out for.

February also saw us add to the Mighty Atom crew. Rhodri Thomas has joined us on the video editting side, and Maria Owen has joined up to help us with band and company marketing. We welcome them both aboard ;-)
