Mighty Atom News and Events
Goatboy played at Metal Hammer's 2nd Midsummer Nightmare on June 1st @ Exeter Phoenix & Grounds. They were on Stage 1 with Spunge, Skindred and Sugarcoma. It was a great show, however the delays in getting everybody into the venue meant only a small audience for the first couple of acts.
Goatboy have also been confirmed at Glastonbury this year on the Avalon stage on 28th of June. They should be on around 8pm with Jon Spensor's Blues Explosion heading the lineup. It would be an understatement to say the boys are looking forward to it.
The Goatboy John Peel session has been rescheduled to the 13th June. Make sure you tune in for that one.
Goatboy also have a new range of merchanise. You can get hold of this at the gigs, or visit the Mighty Atom web shop at www.mightyatom.co.uk/acatalog.
We are currently planning a single release for Goatboy though we have no dates for it yet. This will likely include the excellent cover of the Kyuss track "100 degrees". Also look forward to a video as well.
Goatboy's turntablist and bassist, Deckmasha Slice and Neil (A-nom) have also been hard at work on their other project, the Headcase Ladz. Their EP "Absurdisms" is now out on general release on 12" vinyl.
The Funeral For A Friend EP "Between Model And Order" is currently being pressed. Release date to be confirmed, but we expect it to be late July.
STICKMAN have mixed 4 top tracks which will be available shortly. Again we haven't set a firm release date yet but it is imminent. The new Stickman website is now up and running at www.stickman.uk.com.
