Mighty Atom News and Events

The Liberty 37 / Goatboy tour kicked off Friday March 30th and will be travelling around the country for the first two weeks of April. Tour dates can be found at www.liberty37.com or on this site.

Special thanks to PORNSTAR clothing for sending down clothes for both the bands to wear on tour.

The new Liberty 37 album "God Machine" is re-released on April 8th with a switch to new distributors Plastic Head. It will be avilable for purcahse at all of the gigs along with a new range of merchandise. Also avaiable on line from us at www.mightyatom.co.uk/acatalog

The Goatboy debut album "Superlube" is also released on the April 8th. This is getting rave reviews at the moment and is a big favourite of John Peel. The boys completed the session in late February and it is due to be aired some time in April.

Both albums will be available from all major record stores from the 8th onwards this month.

Goatboy have been confirmed at Metal Hammers 2nd Midsummer Nightmare on June 1st @ Exeter Phoenix & Grounds. They're on Stage 1 with Spunge, Skindred and Sugarcoma.

Goatboy also have a new range of merchanise. You can get hold of this at the gigs, or visit the Mighty Atom web shop at www.mightyatom.co.uk/acatalog.

Goatboy's turntablist and bassist, Deckmasha Slice and Neil (A-nom) have also been hard at work on their other project, the Headcase Ladz. Their EP "Absurdisms" is now out on general release on 12" vinyl.

Mighty Atom are also pleased to announce the signing of two new bands to the label. 'Funeral For A Friend' and 'From This Moment On', both hail from Bridgend and have received a good deal of industry interest. We're very happy here to welcome them aboard. Their first release, a split EP is scheduled for release May 20th. The tracks have been mixed and are being mastered this month.

STICKMAN have mixed 4 top tracks which will be available shortly. We will be stepping things up a gear for the guys this year, their new web site is going to be up soon and they will be doing a UK support tour in the summer.

Both Liberty 37 and Goatboy have featured heavily in Kerrang and Rock Sound over the last two months, with features, gig and album reviews. NME's review of 'Superlube' gave it 1 out 10 but what else could you expect from that rag (It did start a good thread on the Goatboy web site though). By far the most interesting news I have concerning Goatboy though is the fact that they are about to do a video for the track ' you got a ride home ' with several female PORN STARS!!! so watch this space for updates. '

THE HEADCASE LADZ new EP is scheduled for UK/ European release. The EP has been extremely well received by the industry and we are expecting to update you with some very big news regarding The Headcase Ladz. www.headcaseladz.com.

Also look out for our own range of clothing called "Mighty" later on this year, designs and lists of suppliers are being drawn up already.

Apologies for Dai's e-mail newsletter last month.
Future issues will be proof read for spelling mistakes and the grammar checked for errors. It also won't be featuring the 'Take care and Rock On' signing off.
