Goatboy - the second coming

Well Goatboy have been hard at work (by their standards) for the last two years (give or take a month) on their debut album and follow-up to the critically acclaimed demo "Gospel According to Goatboy".

The album will be titled Superlube and even the artwork is very near completion. Also the CD will be released with additional interactive CD elements including two videos as well as photos, live performances and other rather hard to describe elements.

The band have been working in the studio with Joe Gibb over the last two weeks on the final tracks for the CD. Also some of the tracks recorded earlier last year are being remixed. Its been an interesting couple of weeks, with much debate (arguments) over the mixes, but it has been great fun, and the mixes when settled on, are sounding shit hot.

The new album contains a wide range out of the Goatboy repertoire from hard blues rock to total lounge. Look out for Girl From Abertawe and my personal fave Aphrodite.

And things aren't just moving on the music front - the band are hard at work on they're new web site. There's even a new temporary web page up while they're working on it. Check it out at www.devilrock.com. There's also merchandising on the way including t-shirts and baseball caps. Keep an eye on their site.

Here at Mighty Atom we really do expect this band to do very well, and they're already starting to generate alot of interest throughout the industry.
